What is your Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy?
I require 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to reschedule or cancel. I do offer a full refund of the deposit if you have contacted me prior to the 24 hours.
Can I come back in at any time in the future if I start smoking again?
YES! You are welcome to come back and see me again if you start smoking. I urge my clients to call me immediately if they start smoking again, so I can book them in for another session. There is no time limit, so even if you start smoking again in 2 years time, you can call me for a second or third session.
Will I have any cravings or side effects after the Stop Smoking session?
Most clients do not have any cigarette cravings or side effects at all, and from the moment they leave the session are non smokers for life.
Can I claim this through Medicare?
Unfortunately no, Medicare does not cover Hypnotherapy.
Can anyone be Hypnotised?
You naturally enter a hypnotic state many times throughout your day without even knowing it. The depth that an individual can reach in hypnosis varies between individuals.
Clients who have a history of psychosis or those who show signs of entering a depressive state during their first hypnotic session are strongly advised to abstain from engaging in hypnotherapy. Clients are advised to disclose any mental health issues they may be suffering from at the consultation prior to the hypnotherapy.
Is Hypnosis Safe?
Yes, it's 100% safe. You are in a deeply relaxed state, you remain aware and in control and you can terminate the session at any time. Unlike stage Hypnosis, this is a healing session that has long lasting effects. Everyone experiences the Hypnosis session a little differently, some say they feel like they are floating on clouds, and others say that they feel clarity and relaxation. Many people lose time throughout the session, which is completely normal.
How Does Hypnotherapy Work?
Our mind can be divided into two mental states; conscious and the subconscious. The conscious mind deals with rational thinking and observation that we are aware of while the subconscious stores our life’s experiences, emotions and our core beliefs and habits that have evolved out of those experiences.
Through hypnotherapy we suppress the influences of the conscious mind and alter the state in which our subconscious shows hesitancy to a certain situation. The reason that hypnosis works is that all physical or mental behaviours can be traced back to nerve transmission in the brain. These nerve pathways can be altered by suggestion when the brain is in an alpha or theta brain wave state that lies on the borderline between waking and sleeping. The healing patterns dictated by hypnotherapy are established by achieving these states. The reason why treated individuals do not revert back to their old ways after this therapy is that it functions independent of will power.
